Located in the marvelous and highly desirable Whalehead neighborhood and a close walk to restaurant and shops, “Five Suns” is a beautiful oceanfront home featuring upscale amenities for everyone in your group! The top floor features a gorgeous great room with custom made furniture and views of the ocean worthy of a painting, hardwood floors, and a a living area with plenty of space for everyone in the family. Take a seat at the piano and delight everyone with your musical talents. The well-equipped chef’s kitchen has everything you will need during your stay, including a “back cook’s kitchen”/butler’s pantry, a lovely dry bar with ice maker for parties, and a large custom dining room table for your gatherings. The kitchen is appointed with high-end large and small appliances and kitchen tools, and beautiful dinnerware and serving dishes for your entertaining. Finally, the top floor includes two King ensuite bedrooms with stunning views. Bedroom 1 includes a very large walk in shower with oversized rain shower, a soaking tub and a separate toilet area.

The middle level of Five Suns includes six King ensuite bedrooms, a ensuite bedroom with two Double beds for maximum guest flexibility, and a fun ensuite bedroom with one Bunk Set and two Duo bunks for the kids, teens or young families. Our personal favorite, Bedrooms 4 and 5 on Level 2, feature a throw-back to old OBX cottages the owners remember from their youth and “sleeping porches” with built-in hanging beds convertible to couches for lounging on the screened in porch — The perfect place to spend the afternoon reading a book or taking a nap while listening to the ocean sounds just over the dunes.

The ground level features the home’s state of the art theater room where you and the family can sit back and relax while watching one of your favorite movies in leather recliners or the comfortable couch or playing video games together on the big screen with surround sound. In the main area, challenge each other to a game of billiards in the home’s rec room, sit down to play an arcade game, or make a snack or a beverage at the kitchenette area, while watching a movie or the game on one of the multiple TVs or do a puzzle or play a game at the game table in the den! Also, for your convenience, Five Suns provides an elevator for guests to use to between the floors or bring in loads of groceries or your luggage.

The outside of Five Suns features a large pool with the popular wet deck feature, and is complete with many lounge chairs, and places to relax and read a book. Enjoy the full outside bar with a fridge, icemaker and kegerator, a large TV and sound system – this is a great place for watching the game by the pool, or serving a buffet lunch to your guests. Five Suns is part of the Premier Home Services Program. As a result, prior to your arrival, the home will be staged by a dedicated home Ambassador to make sure everything is just right for your arrival.
