Gather the family for an unforgettable vacation in the “Sunlight” in Corolla! Located just one house back from the beach, ocean views and salty breezes are yours to enjoy. There are plenty of common spaces inside and outside of the home for your group to gather or to spread out.

On the top level of the home, you’ll find the great room, with high ceilings and many ocean-facing windows to allow natural light to fill the space. Relax with family in the comfortable living area, which includes a gas fireplace that is available for use during the cooler months of the year. A shuffleboard table located right in the great room gives the opportunity to play while still being in the same room with loved ones that are preparing meals in the kitchen nearby. The kitchen is stocked with ample counter space and all equipment needed to make meals for the duration of your stay, simply add groceries. The elevator assists with getting groceries from the ground floor of the home up to the kitchen on the third level. Two dishwashers are a big help when it’s time to clean up after large family meals. In addition to barstool seating at the kitchen counter, there are two large dining tables. One of the dining tables is located beside the kitchen, and the other can be found in the elevated ship’s watch. Outside on the wraparound deck, enjoy the salty breeze and ocean view. The outdoor dining table on the elevated deck is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee with a beautiful Outer Banks sunrise. A rooftop deck is also available to get a birdseye view of the immediate area. There is one master bedroom on the third level, which includes a private bathroom.

The middle level of the home consists of sleeping quarters. There are three master bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. Two additional bedrooms and a full bathroom complete the inside of the middle floor. Outside on the covered decks, there are plenty of shaded areas to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze. Enjoy a restorative soak in the hot tub, which can also be found on the middle level deck.

Three additional master bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, can be found on the ground floor of the home. The spacious rec room on the first floor includes an additional living area, with a TV and a gas fireplace for use during the chillier months of the year. Many evenings of fun are to be had around the pool table. Stock the nearby kitchenette, which includes a refrigerator and microwave, with snacks and drinks so that refreshments can be readily available without going up to the third floor. For those in your group that need to check in with school or the office during your stay, there is an office space near the laundry room. A half bathroom is also available on the ground floor of the home.

Just outside, lounge around in the sunshine poolside or make a splash in the refreshing private pool. The spacious poolside cabana can provide shade when you need it. The fenced backyard includes a volleyball court, but can also serve as a great place for kids to run around and play. When you’re ready to head to the beach, the nearest community beach access is several houses to the north. With a central location in the Whalehead community, the best shopping, dining, and attractions in Corolla are within biking distance, or just a short car ride away.
